Wivenhoe Youth U9 Reds 0 v Frinton and Walton U9 Reds 0
What a nail-biting match!
The Reds dominated the first half, with a few shots on target but couldn't
seem to finish them off.A touch from Harry J. saw the ball rolling slowly
towards the line, only to be kicked away by one of their huge defenders.
Wivenhoe had a new lease of life in the second half and Peter made some
great saves. Henry and Josh had their work cut out in defence, but as
always, the whole team pulled together to prevent Wivenhoe scoring.

It was a bitterly cold day. From the start the Reds controlled the game and
had 70% of ball possession. Peter made some good saves when FC Clacton
eventually had the ball, but through sheer determination from the Reds, they
all pushed forward and Harry J. scored the first goal.
As the rain started, the Reds kicked off the second half. Again, the Reds
had the majority of possession, with some excellent passing. FC Clacton
began to get frustrated,
Tyler
was brought down and he put his free kick
into the back of the net.
Well done Reds. 10 out of 10 for effort and determination!

Falcons U9 Reds 1
The reds
pulled together from the start and were determined to win. They were two goals
up by the end of the first half, one from Tyler and the other from Harry J.
Excellent defending prevented any goals from the Falcons. In the second half the
Falcons scored an excellent free kick, followed by another fantastic goal from
Tyler. The last goal was scored by Jack, securing the Reds with a great win.

Frinton & Walton U9 Reds 2
Frinton had
the upper hand first half with many attempts on goal but failed
to score. A excellent run by a Brightlingsea forward saw them 1-0 down at
the end of the first half.
In the second half Brightlingsea had a new lease of life but excellent
defending from Henry and Harry B. prevented them scoring again. Tyler scored
a superb free kick and his second goal soon followed.
Excellent result!
Frinton and Walton U9 Reds 0 Bures
United U9 6 (League Cup 1st Round)
Bures dominated from the start and were a much
stronger team. Frinton fought valiantly and with the help of superb efforts from
the 2 stand in goalies, Josh and Jack, were able to keep the score down. The
only break came a couple of minutes before the end as Harry ran from the
half-way line but shot just wide of the goal.
