Rowhedge Juniors U13 1 Frinton &
Walton U13 Blues 3
In this top of the table clash a
determined Frinton came away with all three points. An even
first half saw Frinton lose the impressive Owen with a groin
problem, but they managed to take the lead on the stroke of
half time with an audacious Fadden lob. Frintons midfield of
Rowson, Snow, Nicholas, Rowe and Shergold dominated the
second half which allowed Rowe to produce a cool finish to
double Frintons lead. Rowhedge pulled a goal back near the
end but Fadden scored a cracker to finish them off. Butt,
Doyle, Addy, Bone and Vella defended superbly throughout.

Frinton got off to the best possible start and found
themselves two up after only three minutes with goals from
Adam Nicholas and Jordan Rowe, Lewis Wooller then scored
with his first for the club. Nicholas and Rowe then put
Frinton Five up at the break. Colne defended better in the
second period but Frinton extended their lead as Ben
Richardson scored a rebound after hitting the post; Adam
Nicholas then completed his hat trick with a cool finish.
Colne then scored with a consolation in the last minute.

Frinton found
themselves a goal down against the run of play but with
determination they were ahead at half time thanks to a brace
from Thomas Rowson the first a 25-yard free kick. The second
half was end to end and Frinton extended their lead as Adam
Nicholas anticipated an Ayden Doyle punt into the penalty
box and headed over the advancing keeper. Lexden pulled a
goal back to produce a tense finish which Frinton had The
impressive stand in keeper Harry Owen to thank with great
saves to give them all three points.

Frinton
dominated the first half with Josh scoring from Harry’s
cross within the first couple of minutes. This was shortly
followed by another cracking goal from Josh. Still pushing
forward hard, Jack finished off a great pass from Louie.
Just then, the speedy Clacton striker broke free to score,
for the away team. Just before half time, a superb cross
gracefully curved into the goal, making it a hat trick for
Josh.
The second half
started of very quietly as Clacton’s defence tightened,
making it hard for Frinton to find any openings. Shortly
before full time Frinton pushed forward and Patrick scored
his first of the season.
Newly appointed
goalie, Jack, made some great saves and the whole team
worked really hard and played some terrific football. Well
done boys for a great team effort!
Frinton & Walton U13's blues 3 FC Holland Reds 1
Frinton kept their flying start to the season going with an
impressive win against a good Holland side. They found
themselves two up at the break thanks to Thomas Rowson and
Matthew Vella. The second half was end to end but Frinton
extended their lead as Adam Nicholas pounced, Holland kept
going and scored a late consolation through Baily Barnard.
Frintons defence of Doyle, Addy, Owen and Davidson were
superb throughout with the impressive Butt in goal as solid
as ever.

Harwich & Parkeston U13 2
Frinton put a lot of pressure on
Harwich in the first half and were rewarded for their
efforts with a tidy finish from Adam Nicholas and a cool
penalty from Thomas Rowson. The second half started brightly
for Frinton as Patrick Fadden scored a 20 yard screamer, but
Harwich then pulled two back to put Frinton under pressure.
Frinton re-grouped and they increased
their lead with Thomas Rowson's second after some neat play.

Frinton played well against a
determined Clacton side.
They were four up at half time thanks
to a brace from Lewis Snow and one apiece from Adam Nicholas
and Jake Davidson. The second half was well contested but
Frinton only managed to score one more through an own goal,
after some solid defending
